Item # DM-2 TDS Monitor To monitor the integrity of your RO membrane and see how well it is performing you would measure the TDS value. This DM-2 digital monitor is a laboratory grade instrument and will show you BOTH the Incoming Water TDS value and the Product Water TDS (after) value so you can see the difference and know when to change the membrane. This difference in values will alert you to any TDS Breakthrough caused by membrane degradation (wear and tear), membrane defects, or membrane bypassing caused by incorrect installation or bad seals. Install Inline Calcite Cartridge to my RO system for health benefits.

This unique option will:

add a small amount of natural benefical minerals (calcium carbonate with trace magnesium) back to the RO water
Neutralize acidic RO water when needed
Raise the TDS level of the RO water so it is less aggressive to the faucet metals.

The inline 100% Calcite cartridgethat we use is not a mixture of carbon and calcite but is fully loaded with 100% calcite. This makes the calcite last longer and work better.
This cartridge is IN ADDITION TO the 100% Coconut Shell GAC Carbon cartridge already installed onto your unit ( that polishes the RO water that comes out of the pressure tank).
This gives superior performance from a full charge of GAC carbon - and a full charge of Calcite, vs. a half -charge of each. This gives you a greatly improved performance from each.
